The New York Lizards and Chesapeake Bayhawks met up in Annapolis on Saturday July 20th for an intense showdown filled with highlights. The Lizards walked away with a 14-10 victory thanks largely in part to the Bayhawks three missing stars. Steele Stanwick, attackman and offensive quarterback of the Bayhawks, missed the game due to a personal commitment. Isaiah Davis-Allen, short stick defensive midfielder, watched the game from the bench with a hamstring injury. Midfielder and Syracuse alum Brendan Bomberry was also unavailable. Undermanned and outgunned, the Bayhawks had no answer for New York's veterans Rob Pannell and Dylan Molloy.
