This new addition to the Throne family is pretty unique in that, well its never been done before. Let me explain…
Throne went to some new lengths to bring you some amazing performance mesh. For one they created their own fiber from scratch. A whole new material that has never been used in the lacrosse world before. The blend is a secret but we can tell you that it makes for a much more durable mesh while remaining the lightest on the market.
The big key for this new system is that all the pieces are make from the same exact new fiber. The mesh, sidewall strings, and shooters are all made of this new material in order to create a seriously reliable and durable pocket. There is a bit of a science to all this that I wont go into but Joe Williams; founder of Throne Lacrosse was nice enough to come in and explain it for you:
Besides the tech specs the new Fiber mesh is pretty awesome to play with too. It’s very comparable to a lot of the current performance mesh pieces on the market but has its own unique feel. You can feel the pocket really gripping the ball and the release is A+ too. The new Fiber System also strings up with easy, FLEX CORE technology in the sidewall strings wont tear up your hands and will last a lifetime.
