Every weekend for the past few months we have seen some of the top Lacrosse players go head to head at the face-off X at the DI level. We now know who the big dogs are and who is making a Cinderella story run to the Final Four this Memorial Day Weekend, and now that the 2015 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) season is in full swing we are seeing even better action at lacrosse’s face-off duel. Monsters like New York Greg “Beast” Gurenlian, Denver’s Anthony Kelly, and Charlotte’s Brendan Fowler have been sitting at the top of the stat books all season so far and don’t seem to be slowing down.
A lot of the professional guys like to use heads like the Blade for their face-off duels but some still like other head. Florida’s Chris Mattes for example rocks the Warrior Noz and has been doing rather well. At the college level players are using all different kinds of head to get an advantage. Whether it’s a Nike Ceo or a Tribe7 Ghost7, laxers all have a certain head that fits their certain playing style.
The MLL has been exciting so far and looks the duel head at the face-off is only going to get better as the season goes on!
